New York, NY

New York—I finally made it, and hopefully it is permanent. I have been dreaming of living in New York City for as long as I can remember, and I am still trying to take it all in. So far, the city is definitely living up to my dreams—being lulled to sleep by the sound of a saxophone somewhere down on the street, the horror movie-like sensation of riding the subway every morning, the busy streets filled with people talking of relationships and apartment woes, and those bizarre 7-Eleven stations housed in skyscrapers. The job market here is as competitive as ever, and meeting people is not as easy as I had expected it to be. I am happy though, and enjoying this new chapter of my life. I will try to keep this updated however, because I have a lot going on.

I just wanted to touch base and let you know that I am here, I am breathing, and I need to learn how to layer my outfits better. So, have a good weekend and we will talk soon!
